A kind gentleman from Santa Barbara County, CA had photographed this nest (below)
of an American Robin.  I'm now in my 70's yet way back when I was only 9 years
old I had climbed a tree curious to see if that nest up there had eggs.
Yep, an American Robin's nest with those beautiful blue eggs.

and those blue eggs are what
hooked me into birding for
my entire life
