leg color seemed to change dependent upon reflected light.   here showing more of a pinkish coloration
yet at many other times showed a flesh colored appearance

note that on the birds left side view that the breast band showed wider vs. the right side view
this was clearly evident on a number of instances when this plover was standing facing to our left or right
although would vary.  Yet still always wider on it's left side

amazing that I happened to look out the window and see this and grab a cell shot and turns out to be THE POND (Playa?)
