bird in North America per the American Birding Association (ABA) rules
on eBird you can count anything with wings - even at the zoo!

Someone let it out at the park from their cage, nothing more than a released cage bird
If you want to see and count Zoo birds, you can GO TO THE ZOO and see hundreds
