Alaska with Adak and Barrow
Adak Island to Dutch Harbor, Unalaska, Alaska is approximately 450 miles across the Bering Sea (west to east trip)
Barrow is the northernmost inhabited village in North America
also shown is the Pribilofs (St. Paul / St. George) and Gambell, St. Lawrence Island, Nome, and Anchorage
to give you an idea of birding spots in Alaska.  Attu is the most westernmost Aleutian Island (not labelled).

On a  three day, 450 miles, pelagic birding adventure from Adak Island to Dutch Harbor, Alaska along the
Aleutian Islands chain in the Bering Sea looking for (AND FOUND!) Whiskered Auklets and Short-tailed Albatrosses (many)
